APPNA Medical Corps had the opportunity to partner with SAPPNA, a specialty network of APPNA, twice in 2018 for medical missions to Gujrat, Pakistan. Physicians with specialties in Anesthesiology, Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery performed Cleft Lip/ Palate surgery on children at Aziz Bhatii Shaheed Hospital and Cleft Hospital Gujrat.

APPNA Medical Corps is excited to partner again with Society of Anesthesiologists of APPNA (SAPPNA) at the Muhammad Medical College Hospital in Sindh, Pakistan in 2020! Physicians with specialties in Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, and Anesthesiology are encouraged to volunteer to perform Cleft Lip/ Palate surgery on children. Workshops and teaching seminars will also be conducted during this trip in order to train the local hospital physicians.

The first step to help with future missions is to complete the Online Volunteer Form. Once you complete the Online Volunteer Form, you will receive an email requesting more information about you in the form of your CV/ resume and a short statement describing your interest in the mission. To confirm your commitment to the Sindh Medical Mission, proof of air fare purchase is required 6 weeks prior to the mission start date.

* It is your responsibility as a volunteer to pay for air fare, lodging, and food expenses for the mission.
