Requirements to contest elections- 2019 Election for 2020 Office:
1. Complete the Election Packet by reviewing, signing and notarizing. Packet is due back at APPNA by email, mail or fax on or before March 31, 2019 at midnight CST.
2. Collect fifteen (15) nominations from APPNA members in good standing and send to the APPNA office by email, mail or fax on or by March 31, 2019 at midnight CST.
3. Prepare and send in your candidate fee check made payable to APPNA by mail on or by March 31, 2019 at midnight CST.

ELECTION 2019 TIME-LINE: All dates are the last date for the assigned task
Thursday, February 28, 2019: Eblast sent to full membership seeking candidates and nominations.
Sunday, March 31, 2019: Candidate packets and fee payments are due.
Monday, April 8, 2019: Last day to withdraw from campaign.
Thursday, April 11, 2019: Eblast of Final Candidate Slate to membership from NEC.
Sunday, July 7, 2019: Last day to pay dues to become voting member for 2019* *(must meet CABL requirement as well).
Monday, August 5, 2019: Release of Voter list to candidates by Membership Committee (MC).
Thursday, August 15, 2019: Candidates deadline to submit objections on voter list to MC.
Thursday, August 22, 2019: MC response to candidate’s objections.
Monday, August 26, 2019: Deadline for voting members to update their email and mailing address. After this date, changes to voter contact information will not be accepted.
Thursday, August 29, 2019: Final approved voter list will be released to the candidates.
Thursday, September 5, 2019: Voter list duly signed off by the candidates.
Thursday, September 12, 2019: Mailing of Instructions for Voting by SBS (Electronic Balloting).
Tuesday, September 17, 2019: Email of Instructions for Voting by SBS (Electronic Balloting).
Tuesday, September 17, 2019: Election opens at 9:00 AM Central Time.
Thursday, October 17, 2019: Election closes at 11:59 PM Central Time.
Saturday, October 19, 2019: Announcement of Election Results at Fall Council Meeting
