APPNA partner and sponsor CureMD is providing assistance services through their “APPNA Secretariat” program from their Pakistan satellite office in Lahore.  This service is available to all active APPNA members on a voluntary basis, free of charge.  Pre-approved charges for third party services are to be paid directly to APPNA Secretariat.

APPNA Secretariat shall assist, to the best of resources available to them legally, in providing/facilitating the following services to APPNA Members:

1. Concierge Services:

    1. Travel and transportation facilitation including airline ticket arrangements, rental car arrangements, hotel arrangements.
    2. Assistance in admissions of their dependents to schools and colleges in Pakistan.
    3. Assistance in relocation to Pakistan to members who desire to do so.
    4. Assistance with any clerical or administrative work at Member’s respective academic institution and/ or school of graduation.

2. Government Liaison Services with:

    1. National Database and Registration Authority (“NADRA”)
    2. Immigration and Passport Office (“ImPass”)
    3. Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (“SECP”)
    4. Federal Board of Revenue (“FBR”)
    5. Law Enforcement Agencies (“LEA”) (Police, Immigration, FIA, Customs, etc.)

3. Academic / Education Facilitation Services:

    1. Teaching young Pakistani physicians in learning clinical governance, electronic health records, patient privacy, safety, compliance, lab programs and other academic programs to help expose them to the U.S. clinical practices and the U.S. residency programs.
    2. Arranging research, educational and awareness campaigns through events, seminars and programs, including advancing knowledge through CME and remaining current and knowledgeable in contemporary and anticipated legislative and regulatory changes impacting on the practice of medicine.

4. Finding partner organizations for joint ventures and professional collaboration.

5. Lobbying for Legislative and health policies.

6. Providing Advocacy services.

7. Coordinating and arranging clinical rotations, for medical students in Pakistani medical colleges, in the United States with the help of APPNA members.

8. Coordinating and arranging for social welfare medical projects, disaster relief medical projects, etc.

9. Any other mutually agreed facilities and services.
