Career Counseling Teleconferences are executed frequently in which young physicians call in from across America, Canada and Pakistan to receive guidance from YPC team. The YPC team is able to provide assistance, guidance and information to all applicants during the ERAS match and post-match SOAP for U.S and Canadian Programs. YPC has established contact with various Alumni and academic programs across US to keep resources ready for residency applicants.
YPC members continue to assist with observership/externship/clinical, research electives and research jobs. YPC also guide residency applicants about economical housing options for residency applicants. Conventionally it has been in APPNA funded houses where subsidized accommodation is provided. Effort is also made to accommodate them with physicians living in different cities during interview trail. Green card applications (EB1/EB2) are supported in the form of application material, templates and LORs. Advice and coaching by specialty mentors is also provided for best outcomes for aspirants and applicants. The residency aspirants continue to benefit from remote research mentoring and publish with our members. These activities help with enhancing their CV and also in getting LOR’s for IMG’s from their
