You can book flights on your own, arriving in Hanoi on March 14 and departing from Ho Chi Minh City on March 22. If you are taking one of three optional extended trips to Singapore or Siem Reap (Cambodia), then your return flight should be out of extended city on March 15th. Hotel Check-in time is 2:00 PM and checkout 11:00 AM.

Day 1 Saturday March 14 – Hanoi Arrival

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Hanoi.
In the evening, welcome dinner at hotel.  Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Sunday March 15 – Hanoi City Tour
Highlights of the Day:
Ethnology museum, widely acknowledged as the best in the country. It has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the ground.

Then you visit Temple of Literature which was dedicated to Confucius as well as the first University of Vietnam, dating back to 1070.

After the lunch, you travel to the Old Quarter area of Hanoi. Where you have a half an hour walking tour. Then enjoy a Famous water puppet show at Thang Long Water Puppet theatre.

Visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake, its history dating back to the 13th century. The temple is reached by crossing the The Huc Bridge which literally means the ‘Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams’. The Hoan Kiem Lake is the local point of the city and the source of many legends.

Day 3 Monday March 16 – HA NOI – HAI PHONG – CRUISE ON LAN HA BAY & HALONG BAY
Drive to Ha Long Bay for Ha Long Bay Cruise
Highlights of the Day:
Light and Dark Cave, where you can do kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by local people.
Lunch at Fish Net restaurant area and admire the beauty of the majestic limestone mountains emerging from the emerald blue sea. Admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a sunset party. After rowing boat trip, you have a chance to swim in the green emerald and cool water before cruising to the boat to sleeping area.

After dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic ballad music.

DAY 4 Tuesday March 17: LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND – HANOI DaNang
Welcome the energetic new day with Vietnamese Martial Class – Vovinam activity on the deck and watch the sunrise.

A light breakfast is available to serve you at the restaurant with tea, coffee and cakes.

Enjoy Activities on board

11:00 – 11:30: Disembark Cruise boat;  Transfer Hanoi airport for flight to DaNang. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel in DaNang.

DAY 5 Wednesday March 18: Da Nang Mountains & Bridges
Highlights of the Day:
Ba Na Hill and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda and Golden Bridge.
Lunch in Ba Na.
After lunch is free time for you enjoy resort on own.
Return to DaNang; Overnight in DaNang

DAY 6 Thursday March 19: Da Nang Mountains & Bridges
Highlights of the Day:
Marble Mountain.
Upon arrival at the mountain, you can climb up stone stairs to visit the caves and pagodas as well as admire the beautiful panoramic vista. After the mountain excursion we will have a much with lunch box. After lunch we head to Hoi An Old Quarter.

Hoi An is 30 minutes driving from Danang. The historic town of Hoi An was one of South East Asia’s major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. It is a UNESCO heritage site. You enjoy a walking tour exploring Hoi An Old Quarters. You visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky ancient house. They are all more than 200 years old relics. So much of history to learn.

DAY 7 Friday March 20: Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Tour of HCM
Highlights of the Day:
Notre Dame Cathedral that was built between 1877 and 1883. This is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Nearby is the Old Post Office that is another example of French colonial architecture and is also the country’s largest post office. Then, we move on to see the Reunification Palace. This is one of the most important buildings in the city. Here on April 30th 1975 the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
18.00 we continue the trip to enjoy A O show (Circus in Opera Theater)

DAY 8 Saturday March 21: Ho Chi Minh
High Lights of the Day:
Cu Chi tunnels.
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels where the Vietnamese could escape bombings, hide from enemy, and mount surprise attacks. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
