Visa:  A tourist visa is required to enter Jordan and Egypt, Visa on arrival is arranged for all. No Visa is required for US Citizens for Israel.  This meeting is open to only US and Canadian Passport holders. More information will be sent to all registrants in July.  Expect delays and questioning at port of entry in Israel.

Note: If you like to make your own flight arrangements, (You will be responsible for your airport/hotel/airport transfers unless arriving between) Plan to arrive in Jerusalem on October 01 and depart from Cairo, Egypt on October 10.

Cancellation:

COVID/Pandemic and other related concerns.

APPNA has negotiated with hotels and other vendors a cancellation clause, in case group is unable to travel if COVID escalates in the countries we are traveling to and CDC/WHO restricts travel to these countries or if travel to these countries becomes impossible for any reason beyond our control.  However, APPNA will refund money only and when it is returned from vendors/hotels in these countries.  APPNA will not be responsible for refunds of any money that is not received from these vendors.

You must be fully vaccinated to travel on this trip.
Full payment is refundable, if cancelled by July 15, 2021
A 50% refunds will be issued if cancelled after July 15, 2021 and before August 15, 2021
No Refunds will be given if cancelled after August 15, 2021

Insurance: APPNA does not carry any trip cancellation insurance.  Attendees should obtain their own cancellation, emergency, accident, health or any other types of travel insurance policies related to this trip. Activity levels:

Some activities require walking and more rigorous physical activity.  Please check itinerary for activity levels to make sure if this trip is feasible for you.

For reference only; here are definitions of different activity levels:

Activity Level 1: Easy, short walks;  Leisure trips and some travelling.
Activity Level 2: Moderate, longer walks mostly on flat surface; more travel and less downtime on a trip.
Activity Level 3: Active, longer walks on flat and paved surfaces.  Walks on slopes and hills; Some walking at higher altitude and occasional longer/harder days may be involved.
Activity Level 4: Challenging, Longer walks; walks over hills, un-paved surfaces. Physical fitness and preparation is required for these and the experience can be intense.

Day 1 Friday March 4: Arrive Tel Aviv Airport

Arrive Tel Aviv Airport (Ben Gurion), meet & assist, transfer to Mamilla Hotel.
Dinner at Hotel.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Meals: Dinner

Day 2 Saturday March 5: Aqsa Mosque – Hebron – Bethlehem

Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Aqsa Mosque, Dome of the Rock, Marwani Mosque, Old Aqsa Mosque.
Lunch during the tour.
And then proceed to Hebron visit Ibrahimi Mosque, Halhul visit Nabi Younis and then proceed to visit Bethlehem  Nativity church, the Birth Place of Nabi Issa, transfer back to hotel in Jerusalem.
Dinner at Hotel.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 Sunday March 6: Old Jerusalem

Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed to Old City of Jerusalem, visit Holy Sepulcher Church, and then proceed to Aqsa Mosque.
Mount Herzel, Nabi Daoud.
Lunch during the tour.
Burak wall, free time at Old City Markets, drive back to the Hotel.
Dinner in a restaurant.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 Monday March 7: Haifa – Jaffa – Tel-Aviv

Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed to visit Haifa, Bahai Garden from outside, Mount Carmel.
Lunch during the tour.
And then City Tour in Jaffa and Tel Aviv – visit the Old Port – view Sultan Abdelhamid clock.
Al Mahmoudiah Mosque, city tour in Tel Aviv, view Rabin’s Square, Opera Building.
Dinner in a restaurant.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5 Tuesday March 8: Allenby Bridge to Jordan

Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Allenby Bridge, assist with the formalities and proceed to Amman, Jordan.
Visit Amman Citadel, Roman Museum, King Abdallah Mosque, Rainbow Street.
Dinner with local kebobs; shisha and music at Fairmont Amman Hotel,  or at comparable restaurant.
Overnight in Amman.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6 Wednesday March 9: Madaba – 7 Sleeper cave – Petra

Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Madaba “The City of Mosaics” and the Church of the Map that has the oldest map on the earth. Then you will be transferred to the cave of 7 sleepers who slept in that cave for 309 years.
Lunch during the tour.
Visit Nabi Shoaib burial place.
Drive to Petra.
Dinner at hotel.
Overnight in Petra.

Day 7 Thursday March 10: Petra – Cairo

Breakfast at Hotel. Check out from Hotel, start the visit to Petra as the most famous and the most exceptional site in Jordan. This ancient city is the legacy of the Nabateans, an Arab people settled in Jordan over 2000 years ago. It is today one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. There, you will admire the Khazneh, also called the “Treasury”, as well as the Amphitheatre; the Royal Tombs, the Monastery and many other amazing buildings carved in the rocks.
Lunch in Petra Magic restaurant (open buffet) and special Jordanian dish ( MAKLOBAH ).
Drive to Aqaba, fly by charter flight from Aqaba to Cairo.
Arrival at Cairo Airport, meet & assist, transfer to Hotel in Cairo.
Welcome Dinner at Hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8 Friday March 11: Egyptian Museum & Bazaar

Breakfast at Hotel.
Full day tour to visit The Egyptian Museum containing over 120000 pieces [Famous for its antiquities from Egypt’s Pharaonic period].
The Brilliant collection of Tutankhamon.
Jumaa Prayer at Al-Azhar Mosque.
The Khan El Khalili Bazaar [The biggest open air Bazaar in the Middle East].
Free time for shopping in open air market.
Lunch on own.
Evening will attend the lovely Sound & Light Show at pyramids area.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 9 Saturday March 12: Pyramids & Sphinx

Breakfast at Hotel.
Start the full day tour to Pyramids & Sphinx.
Pyramids – one of the Great Wonders of the World.
Visit the 3 Great Pyramids & go inside one of the Queens Pyramids.
Visit the Panorama to see the 3 Pyramids landscape & Camel ride.Visit the Great Sphinx which has kept its secrets for centuries.
Visit the Valley Temple (Mummification Temple).
Visit the Perfume Palace, and Papyrus Institute.
Lunch during the tour.
Back to Hotel to have some rest.
Dinner on board of [5* Deluxe Nile Cruise] enjoying Dervish Show (Tannoura Show), enjoy the Sofi Dance.
Transfer back to Hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10 Sunday March 13: Departure

Breakfast at Hotel, Check out to Cairo Airport.
Transfer to Cairo Airport & fly back home in Peace.
