[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]COVID Webinar series will be 50 Webinars old end of next month. With a lot of education and discussion between experts here in North America and Pakistan over the past five months, we will be transitioning to the next series.

1- APPNA MERIT is launching Family Medicine Specialty Rotations
A Blended Active Learning Program with weekly Live Sessions. The vision is to provide General Practitioners (GPs) in Pakistan with ‘virtual Speciality rotations’ with active learning through online Sessions, assignments and discussions by specialists from Pakistan and abroad; complementing basic workshops and certificate courses offered in Pakistan for GPs to bridge the gap of subspecialty care especially in underserved areas.

2- Nursing Chapter in APPNA MERIT:
After the successful launching of a nine webinar series of critical care nursing for the nurses assigned to critically ill patients with COVID-19, a four-month blended online module based course for critical care nursing is being launched in October this year.

We will also be launching the Community nursing initiative along with our ongoing Family Practice initiatives that started earlier this year with the MERIT conference in Pakistan.

The third focus is on leadership and faculty training for Pakistan Nursing. All these initiatives are being done in collaboration with the Pakistan Nursing council and Pakistan Nursing Federation.

3- One-year Stroke Mini Fellowship online course:
This will be launched in October this year. The attendees and faculties have been selected in collaboration with the Pakistan Stroke Society and the Pakistan Neurology Society as well as Army Medical Corps.
